U-Boot: The Board Game is a real-time game of WW2 submarine warfare. This underwater war thriller will put your skills to the ultimate test. But unless you’re someone who likes early access games, I’d keep this one on your wishlist for now.Review Summary: If Das Boot were a game, this would be it.īlurb from the publisher: 'A real time, app-driven tabletop submarine simulator. There’s a fine game taking shape in Uboat. You have to take one out, put it in storage, then take the other one out of storage and put it in. There’s no way to order the engineer to “swap these two torpedoes”. Don’t have an empty space? You’re screwed. You have to sit there hovering and hit cancel on his auto reload, then manually tell him to load the one you want. If you want to swap one torpedo for another, you have to have an empty spot in your torpedo storage, manually unload one torpedo, wait for that to be done (and I mean wait because if you get distracted, the dumb motherfucker will start putting the same torpedo back in as soon as he finishes taking it out. And I mean zoom all the way in, because there’s a side of beef hanging in front of it, and you can’t see or interact with the control unless you’re in first person or zoomed literally all the way in. You cannot order a crew member to do it from the Tab menu, you must zoom all the way in, manually select an officer, and then manually change the light color.
